Scanpan Classic Open Deep Sauté Pan, 4 qt.

A deep sauté pan is designed for sautéing and browning with extra room to stir, turn and build a sauce in the same pan. It’s a strong choice for one-pan dinners when you want more capacity than a skillet.

A skillet is typically wider with lower sides, while a deep sauté pan offers more side height for saucier cooking and bigger batches. That added depth can help keep ingredients more contained as you stir.

A 4-quart deep sauté pan gives you the volume to cook vegetables and proteins together, then finish with a quick pan sauce. It’s a practical size for family portions and everyday one-pan meals.

Try chicken with vegetables, shrimp and peppers or a quick pasta sauce that starts with sautéed aromatics. The open deep sauté pan makes it easy to add ingredients as you go and reduce sauces while you cook.

Yes, a deep sauté pan works well for recipes that start with browning and finish with a gentler simmer in the same pan. It gives you room for sauce and helps keep the cooking process streamlined.

A lid can be helpful when you want to hold in heat for a gentle simmer or cut down on splatter. If you prefer covered cooking, pair the pan with a separate lid that fits the pan’s diameter.
