The cherry pitter with splatter shield is designed to help contain juice that can spray when the pit releases. Using it over a bowl or sink can help keep cleanup even easier, especially when you are working through a larger batch.
Place a cherry in position, then squeeze the handles to push the pit through. The cherry pitter with splatter shield helps keep juice contained, so you can move from cherry to cherry with less splatter as you go.
A cherry pitter is best for quickly removing pits when you are baking, prepping toppings or making desserts that call for a lot of cherries. It is also handy when you want pitted cherries ready to snack on.
The cherry pitter is built with a pressure-absorbing, non-slip grip to make repeated squeezing feel easier in your hand. It is a smart pick for tasks like pitting enough cherries for a pie or a weekend baking project.
The cherry pitter includes a splatter shield that removes from the tool, which helps you reach more areas when cleaning. Rinse and wash it soon after use to prevent sticky juice from drying on.
