Le Creuset Stoneware French Press, 34 oz. in Marseille

A stoneware French press uses an immersion method: you add grounds, pour in hot water, let it steep, then press the plunger down to separate the grounds from the brewed coffee. The stoneware body is designed to help hold heat during steeping and serving.

Yes. The stoneware French press can brew loose-leaf tea, too, since the stainless steel mesh plunger is designed to filter out tea leaves as you press and pour. It is a convenient option when you want a single pot for coffee or tea.

This stoneware French press holds 34 oz., which is enough for multiple cups depending on the size of your mug. It works well for serving yourself or sharing a pot at the table.

For thorough cleaning, the stoneware French press has a reusable filter that unscrews from the lid so you can clean each part more easily. Disassemble the plunger pieces as needed, rinse away grounds or tea leaves, then wash according to your preferred method.

Stoneware is designed to retain heat, which can help keep your brew warmer while it steeps and as you pour. With a stoneware French press, the brewing and serving experience can feel a bit more steady and unhurried.
