Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Signature Trivet, 8.8" in Flame

An enameled cast iron trivet is used to help protect tables from hot cookware and from condensation under warm or chilled dishes. Set pots, pans or serving pieces on top to keep heat and moisture off your surfaces.

With an 8.8" diameter, the enameled cast iron trivet is sized to hold many everyday pots, pans and serving dishes. It is a great choice when you want a dedicated spot on the table for a hot piece of cookware.

The enamel on this enameled cast iron trivet is designed to resist dulling, chipping and staining. That means it is well suited for frequent use on the table and countertop without losing its polished look.

Yes. In addition to handling hot cookware, the enameled cast iron trivet helps protect your table from condensation that can form under cold serving pieces.

It works well for both. Use the enameled cast iron trivet to rest cookware after cooking, then keep it on the table as a neat, elegant base for serving dishes.
