L'Atelier du Vin de Gaulle Corkscrew

A corkscrew with a Teflon-coated worm is designed to reduce drag as the worm goes into the cork and help maintain a secure grip during extraction. This can make it easier to remove a variety of cork types with less risk of tearing or crumbling.

The five-step turn mechanism is built to support a secure, controlled turning motion as you drive the worm into the cork. It’s designed to help you stay steady and consistent from the first turns through the final lift.

Set the self-centering base over the bottle’s neck so it naturally aligns itself before you start turning. Once it feels centered and stable, turn the worm in and then use the two levers to lift the cork out smoothly.

Yes. This two-arm lever corkscrew is described as able to extract any cork type without causing damage, which makes it a versatile option for everyday bottles and special-occasion wines alike.

The base is lined with soft plastic to help prevent scuffs or chips on the bottle neck while you open the bottle. For care, follow the maker’s guidance and keep the corkscrew clean and dry between uses.
