The cat tea infuser is best for steeping loose-leaf tea directly in a mug. It hangs onto the rim with its paws so it’s easy to place, remove and enjoy a cleaner cup.
Open the cat tea infuser, add your preferred loose tea leaves, then place it into a mug of hot water with the paws resting on the rim. Let it steep to taste, then lift it out and empty the leaves.
The cat tea infuser is designed to hook onto a mug rim using its paws. For best results, use a mug where the rim provides a secure perch and fill with enough hot water to cover the infuser so it can steep.
The cat tea infuser is made for loose tea leaves, especially larger pieces that steep well while staying contained. If you use very fine tea, a little sediment can be more likely to slip through, so whole-leaf styles are a great choice.
After steeping, discard the used leaves and rinse the cat tea infuser. For a deeper clean, it’s top-rack dishwasher safe.
