Cristel Strate Pasta Inserts, 7 qt.

Yes. Each stainless steel pasta insert is designed to fit a specific Cristel Strate stock pot size: 5-qt. insert with the 5.5-qt. stock pot, 7-qt. insert with the 7.5-qt. stock pot and 10-qt. insert with the 10-qt. stock pot.

Match the insert to your Cristel Strate stock pot capacity. Choose the 5-qt. insert for the 5.5-qt. stock pot, the 7-qt. insert for the 7.5-qt. stock pot or the 10-qt. insert for the 10-qt. stock pot.

The inserts are sold on their own. Handles and lids are not included and are intended to be purchased separately as part of the Cristel Strate detachable handle system.

These inserts are great for boiling and lifting out foods you want to drain quickly, like potatoes. They also work well when you want to keep everything contained in the same pot for easier cleanup and fewer tools on the counter.

Cook as you normally would in the compatible stock pot with the insert nested inside. When the food is done, lift the insert out to let the water drain back into the pot, then transfer to a bowl or back into the pot for saucing.
