Cole & Mason Derwent Salt & Pepper Mills, Stainless Steel

Stainless steel salt and pepper mills are ideal for everyday seasoning at the table and while you cook. With multiple grind settings, they help you match texture to the dish, from a fine finish to a coarser crunch.

The salt mill uses a ceramic grinder with three settings from fine to coarse. The pepper mill offers six settings and uses a carbon steel mechanism designed to strip peppercorns by their layers rather than simply crushing them.

Finer grinds dissolve and distribute quickly, which is helpful for soups, sauces and finishing fries. Coarser grinds add texture and a more noticeable hit of seasoning, which is great for steaks, salads and roasted vegetables.

No, the mills are sold separately. That makes it easy to replace one mill, choose just salt or pepper or mix styles across your tabletop.

Instead of just crushing peppercorns, the carbon steel mechanism is designed to strip them by individual layers. As those layers release, the flavors blend for a fuller, more intense peppercorn taste.

Yes, the stainless steel finish is designed to look polished and pulled together on a dining table or kitchen counter. It also pairs easily with a wide range of serveware and kitchen styles.
